Transferring files from a P2 camera to my PC

    Hello,

I know that Panasonic makes a variety of card readers and portable hard drive card readers and you can transfer the files via laptop PCMCIA. But can you transfer the files diretly from the camera to your PC, for example  firewire?

    Thanks,

    Tom

Yes, you can have the camera acts like a card reader.

But you would use a USB cable.
