2019.7 drag bin back to container

    Hi,

Let's say I have a bin container where I have multiple bins open, tabbed. I can drag a bin out of this container to become floating but can I drag it back to the container to be tabbed again?

    thanks,

Keep [Alt] pressed and drag the bin-tab (not the container-tab) to the designated container.

This hasn't worked for me. I'm doing something wrong, no doubt. Is the "Bin Tab" the custom title at the top of a bin? The gray area above that? The left top corner? In any case, I haven't succeeded in docking to a floating bin  to a container with an already existing bunch of tabbed bins in a bin container. I wish someone could make a cheat sheet of all the drag and drops with or without modifers. I might even spend money!

That said, I do think the interface is a great improvement - pain in learning aside.

I just spent few mins figuring it out. To drag a floating bin into a Bin Container that is already holding some bins: Click and hold on the floating bin's name/top bar. Hold down OPTION, then drag to the top bar of the Bin Container, which should now be coloured a lighter shade of green than the darker 'docking' mode.

The floating bin will then incorporate into the Bin Container.
