    Thank you for your input. I managed to work around the issue when I ignored the "initializing" and clicked on "licensing" instead of "account". It worked.

     

    Dmajor, thank you very much for your time and professional advice!

    My humble opionion to reprogramming in general is that we are dealing with a consumer's window of a software here.

    I should not have to reprogram, overwrite or access any deeper layers on my computer to license a professional and paid software.

    I had to go through weeks and weeks of try and error before when I wanted to allow the new Avid payment partner to deduct the license fee from my credit card. It took me hours to get this solved with phone calls etc etc. No, my WIFI is not off , OF COURSE NOT!?!?! That specific issue was eventually solved by changing browser from Chrome to Mozilla. How could this be in the first place, when Chrome is probably the most used browser ever?

    This advice was given to me by Avid purchase assistance eventually, so the flaw seems to be known but non of the other customer service agents apparently knew about it. So we wasted my time - because I wanted to BUY a product = license. 

    These flawas are are simply embarrassing for Avid and quite annoying.

    hi there,

    i am on windows 10 pc,

    and my Avid link has to be re-installed every time after a pc restart,

    otherwise it cannot sign in again.

    have to uninstall, re-install again.

    i'm on the latest version..

    help?

    Hi Rozroz,

       Are you using Admin account on your Windows 10? Add Avidlink and Appman helper to the firewall list. It's possible Antivirus is also blocking connection.

    hi.

    i looked at the windows firewall list and they're allowed. 

    what am i suppose to do about windows anivirus?
