    Drive filtering being ignored 2019.6

Even thought I have system and launch drive filtered out in Media Creation, it seems to ignore it and C: drive was selected for titles, import, capture etc. and is still selectable.

Sorry, but I couldn't duplicate this on the system in my specs. After filtering the system and launch drive, C: appears greyed out when I select the drop-down for what drive a render/mixdown/whatever should go to.

Remember that this filtering must be setup for each and every project under 'Media Creation'...

    Thanks I know that.

Just tested it again and and the Media creation settings are definitely not sticking for me - it is defaulting to drive C:. Totally new user profile too.

Edit: It appears that I had to change the media selection back to DNxHD 120 and apply to all. It is now sticking to the raid drive - I've never seen that happen before.

maybe this trick will rock your boat:

place an empty .txt file on c:

name it "Avid MediaFiles", remove .txt extension.

now avid can't create a folder of the same name on that drive.

Avid won't filter out that drive, but at least you can't write to it by mistake.

That's exactly what I did straight after - I even had that file hanging around from 8 years ago!
