    Windows 10 Auto-Refresh Issue

    Hello,

    We are running Windows 10 (1709) with Media Composer 2018.11 and Interplay 2018.11 installed on a HP z840. We've noticed that post installing the Nexis Client Manager (18.11.0.9) an issue appears where after half a day or so windows explorer stops auto-refreshing.

    This means when you do any operation at explorer level you do not see the change without having to refresh (F5) first. It also means if you mount new drives in the Nexis Client Manager they do not appear in Media Composer unless you quit and reopen the application.

    Additionally, with the same software and hardware except on Windows 7 we do not see this issue.

    We see that too on multiple sites. However after updatng the Nexis client to 2019.12.2 and later versions the issue has not reappeared. Fingers crossed.

    Hi Jeroen,

    Thanks for the reply - I have clean installed that client manager (2019.2.2) on our test pc and will monitor for a while to see if I see similar results.

    This happening here too, no Nexis; it all started after applying the "fixes" suggested by the Avid System Diagnostic Tool, that disables many Windows services. Too many?
