Im running Media Composer 2018.12.0
I made an oval shape in the Color Correction window (CC Effect). Then later on I decided to resize it. I never intentinally created any keyframes, but I can see two keyframes in the "Current" (middle) color correction window.
I can alt+drag them around, but I can't delete either one of them with the delete key.
If I open the effect editor window there are no keyframes anywhere, so I can't delete from there.
Edit: And it just let me delete one on another clip...Weird. Maybe it's because I did a copy/paste of the effect?
I'm currently having exactly the same question. Is there any solution yet? I also wonder how other editors deal with it.

Same for you... Case # 03939222
Need your OS and how you created the keyframe and how you tried to delete it.

Seems like I'm not allowed to change the system specs on my profile page, so I just wrote everything into my signature window. OS is High Sierra 10.13 6
I created the keyframes by just making changes on my created shape (I changed the position and softness of the shape which I created with CC effect). All that was done in the color correction work space.

I added that to the case. I think Fernando reached out already and had a few questions. check email.
Make sure that your mouse is hovering over the keyframe (there will be a little ring around it) before hitting the delete key. If it moves a hair off, the keyframe might not be deleted.
Philo Calhoun: Make sure that your mouse is hovering over the keyframe (there will be a little ring around it) before hitting the delete key. If it moves a hair off, the keyframe might not be deleted.
I can't speak for Pianoman but at least on my screenshot the keyframe I want to delete is activated, so that must be another problem.
Maybe it is a different issue, but I found that 2020.4 was inconsistant in being able to delete keyframes. Sometimes one just had to select the keyframe and then push delete. Sometimes the delete would only work if both the keyframe was selected and the mouse was hovering over the exact position (where it turns into a hand icon).
