    promise sanlink ethernet adapters?

Has anyone deployed promise sanlink etherent adapters for MacOS Nexis clients? I undertstand they aren't on the HCL, but from my investigations so far, it appears they just weren't tested.

    I am looking at TB2 and TB 10G Base-T/N and 10Gb SFP+

yes, i understand that the qualified adapters are Atto, but they are 10-50% more expensive and not available in the same quantities. Additionally, we use sanlink adapters for fibre channel clients elsewhere.

If you're looking for something less expensive, the Sonnet 10G Solo 10GBaseT 1 x 10 Gb NIC is also supported with NEXIS, page 17 of the Network and Switch Guide. It uses the same Aquantia NIC as the iMac Pro that doesn't work with ISIS.

I don't know of anyone using it personally. There's a good chance it would work as it is using the same chipset but it appears to cost the same amount as the Sonnet. I'm not sure what advantage there would be to use an unproven NIC.
