Why maximum 40 client connections to an Nexis E4?

    Quite annoying.

Why could you connect with 90 clients to an ISIS?

It should be up to me if I will take the risk to reach maximum bandwith. (but I will not, we can work lowres if needed etc)

    Will this change?

Re: Why maximum 40 client connections to an Nexis E4?

The solution is to get a System Director Appliance.

The NEXIS PRO supports for 30 connected clients with 4 media packs; NEXIS Enterprise supports for 40 clients with the embedded System Director and 4 media packs. With the System Director Appliance, NEXIS Enterprise supports 600 connected / 330 active clients and 64 Media Packs.

The amount of RAM and CPU availabe to NEXIS Enterprise running the Embedded System Director limits the client count.
