    AMT and AAF generation

    Hi,

I have a capture server that creates OPATOM files and saves them directly to my nexis storage

I would like to create an AAF of those files so I could check them in with interplay webservices

Looking at the AMT sample app, the TestMxfToAmt(), it seems that it's opening each of the atom files and re-writes them to disk

what would be the best approach to not re-write the files, but only to generate the AAF (and xml) file out of existing nexis opatom files?

    Thanks!

I know a way but it needs a 3rd party app. is that helpful?

It is called Woody Ingest, from Woody Technologies.

You can create the AAF, and the XML file too, or ingest it directly to Interplay if you want, using any metadata field to rename it or create a folder structure inside the database.

What it doesn't by the moment is to ingest growing files.

Please write me to dvillalba@b-it.com.ar for further details, demo or a test lab.
