Exception: failed to get the sample position from the AMA plug-in

    Hi.

I get the above error on a project that i have completed and wanted to archive, but every time i try to consolidate, it gives me the above error.

Any ideas? Is it a file structure problem, or a functionality problem?

    I'm on 8.9.3

    thanks.

I had this error in 2018.x & found a recommendation to delete AMA management folder - worked for me

    Thanks,

    I'll try it next time.

This time I handled it, turns out it was a corrupt clip.

Can't even AMA link to it. You'll need to use Resolve or EditReady to convert it to an editable format. If you are working offline/online, then that means that that newly converted footage will be the master, and you'll need to transcode that to offline, or you'll need to online in Resolve (if you use Resolve to transcode)
