    Masterclips and renders going into different mxf folders.

    Don't get me wrong, I love Avid media management.  This suggestion is for something that's been around for decades.

    I feel that rather than masterclips and renders both going into mxf folder 1, that the following happens

    transcodes, imported media, master clips, etc go into 1

    renders/precomutes go into 1R (or any other name that only renders go into)

    There are many scenarios when one has to copy media over, and there isnt enough time to copy over precomputes.  Yes there are work arounds for this, but this would simply it. And also just make it easier to see where renders are.
