    Auto Mounting Thumb Drive

I want it to not do this. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Open a command prompt, and type in DISKPART. At the DISPART prompt, enter the command "AUTOMOUNT DISABLE" (no quotes). This will prevent any new file system from automatically mounting. Note that this will also include all new drives, including USB based hard drives, FIREWIRE drives, etc.

It sounds great, but on MAC vers 8.9.4 it is just not there. Any other option? Thanks

I found this on Mac site worth a try.

That is why we encourage user to complete their profile (Machine specs, OS MC version etc) just like Dave S. Wink
