Just noticed this one - anyone seeing this?
Restart Avid, problem goes away for a while. Turn off and then turn on the audio track (not arm/solo etc) and problem goes away for a while.
I haven't got an exact recipie for how to replicate this! I know that the clip level line reflects the changes you have made, only the actual playback seems un-affected. Restarting Avid and the level you set that previoulsy wasn't working is now working and displaying correctly... wierd.
Vote 1 - Dongles.
UME an old engine, now with 4K, mags and furry dice....
I also noticed that behaviour in MC 8.8.5 and I also have no exact way to reproduce the bug it happens occasionally. Closing and opening the bin with the sequence solves the problem for me.

hi to all,
we have a similar problem with audio in version 8.9.2.
Is there already a ticket at avid?

I noticed this yesterday in 8.9.1
In my case I was working with AMA linked media that was grouped for multicam.
I cranked the gain up using the mixer and rolled the playhead back a little but the actually level didn't increase.
I repeated the step and the same thing occurred. Next I just left the playhead where it was and then adjusted the level and then played and the level was as loud as it should be...however, moving the playhead back a little and the level returned to being lower again. The mixer still showed the level being set much hotter.
Later I committed all the multi-cam edits and transcoded the media and it worked ok.
Creating a case now. # 03317963

Done.
Hi. Have you heard back with a fix? I'm having the same issue.
Thanks.
Same issues using clip gain. Just reloading the sequence will clear the problem.
It is logged as a bug, they are aware of it... Fix ETA, who knows. Vey anoying when doing a audio session on a project...
Bump
Can't see anything in the readme that this is addressed in 8.9.3 Can anyone confirm if it is still an issue? It's probably too soon a release to expect a fix in this release but here's hoping.

Checing but I dont think a fix was completed yet and rolled in.... checking.
I'm at a post house using 8.9.3 and this bug is driving me mad. Almost every time I adjust audio levels in the timeline, they don't actually work - reloading the seq fixes it. What version do I need them to move to to fix this, or is there a way to work around it if they won't update all the suites?
Thanks

We're on 8.9.4 and also experiencing this issue. I added a keyframe to an audio clip and adjusted the volume, and then I used the Audio Mixer to further modify it, but nothing appeared to actually happen. Removing the keyframe and closing/re-opening the bin seemed to refresh it to start working again.
Does anyone know of a version there this has been fixed?
I am on ver 10 and I have had no more problems.
