    Uncompressed Quicktime Gamma/Color shift

    Hi all,

I'm trying to deliever a feature to quiver digital who accepts prores422 quicktimes or uncompressed quicktimes. Of course they don't accept DNxHD/HR and I'm not on a mac, so....

My project is 4k and my DNxHR comes out looking great at 4k with colors being correct. WHen I tell it to export an uncompressed quicktime at 1920x1080 it gets washed out. Not terribly, but enough to notice. I've tried changing my project color space to RGB and that did nothing at all. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Best,

    Allen

    Re: Uncompressed Quicktime Gamma/Color shift

Export from Avid as a reference quickltime.  Take the reference file into Sorenson and convert to the file format that you need to deliver in.  That should fix your issue.

To chck to make sure everything is kosher, AMA link to both of the files (reference and delivery file) and check them in your client monitor.  You should not see a shift.
