Editing with Gopro 4 silver and Canon 5D MkIII footage

    Hello,

I need some tips or advice on editing the video material from Canon 5D MKIII & Gopro 4 silver.

    - Gopro 4 silver video was made with protune ON and flat colours.

    - Canon 5D mkIII, Canon 550d with default settings of the camera.

It is a 52 min. documentary.

I intend to transcode all the files in to DNxHD 120 for easyer editing in media composer 7. After editing, color correction and some effect will be applied on the clips. I don't intend to mix footage together. Every camera has a stand alone location and scene. But I have to put the footage in to some sort of level.

Exporting the project would be Prores 422 or same as source? The Project will go in to Apple Motion 5 for additional Graphic.

Thanks for any advices or tips.

Make sure you have matching frame rate across the board. Avid cannot handle multi frame rate multicam edit.
