    Avid 8.31: Exception: ADM_COREAUDIO_UNDERRUN Detected:40205

I saw the thread before about this issue for version 6.1, but none of the fixes worked on my system.  Anyone else out there getting this error in 8.3.1? I am getting it at playback, I have done complete shut down and restarted various times and it keeps coming back.

Usually underruns are caused by data not keeping up. That can point ot a number of problems but the most likely suspect is usually a dying hard drive or bad cable. The other possibility could be a resource conflict with your audio hardware but assumin gthis was a working system and nothing else has changed I chase the media drive first.

Can we go back to the way audio nodes used to be selected? Please? ie if you have audio nodes at the same time on selected tracks; then selecting 1 audio node selects them all at that time. Having to shift select nodes or add an in and out is time consuming and counter productive. At least make it an option.
