    Unable to ama QuickTime file

We recently recorded some footage on an Atomos Shogun in the DNxHD 1080 25p 36Bit format. Upon ingesting the file, the normal import didn't work, and nor did AMA (as it sometimes does).

Media Composer cannot see the video, but on 8.4 asks to salvage the audio.

Is there any way to import the file as we know what codec it is supposed to be, but not being recognised.

Is there a way to "force import as" or something to reward the file? It isn't playing in any player, but MediaInfo says there is a video track (without any codec)

    Using MC7.0.4

Does Quicktime Player even open them? Or VLC?
