8.3 project using over 20gig of ram is it Izotope plugins?

I have a project that is about 83mb large that has become very sluggish and takes an age to open as it is now eating up about 20gigs of ram, an issue never experienced before. Its a feature almost 2 hours long and uses a few Baselight plugins and recently a lot of Izotope plugins via audiosuite. Are either those the culprits and how to release the ram back to a manageable level? My system has 24 gigs of ram.
