    Lets back up a bit... put your media in the F:/Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1/ folder - this is very specific folder structure and avid will not see any media not in the Drive Letter:/Avid MediaFiles/MXF/# structure.  Please note it is "Avid MediaFiles" not Avid Media Files as in your post

    delete any msmFMID.pmr and msmMMOB.mdb files in any Avid MediaFiles/MXF/# directories -The 2 database files can be deleted and avid will rebuild them at launch.

    start Avid - does it rebuild your database?

    if database rebuilt - does the media come online?

    if media not online, does avid see your f: drive (open Tools-Hardware and make sure the drive is there)
