    Error message while playing.

I have searched for this and can't find an answer.
This error happens after a bit of playing and editing.  No effects or anything, just straight editing.  It eventually takes over and you can't play anything either.
I have tried creating a new bin, new settings and a new project.  Tried reinstalling Avid and the OS.
The bins seem to work fine in other computers.

Exception: AMPI subsystem error, ErrorMessage:err == kFicNoErr

Other errors come up later that read

Exception: std::exception, what:"Segmentation fault" in thread "Adopted Thread". at address 0x0

Which leads to Avid quitting with

    Alert
"Floating point exception" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0

    We're running Avid 8 on Mavericks 10.9.3
    2.8 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    32 GB memory

If you need anymore information, let me know.

Would help if anyone had any information on this. I tried repairing the disk permission and installing PACE stuff.  But this message still eventually comes up.

All users on the computer (Tried making a new one, still same thing.)
I've tried moving the media from one computer to another (Same bins/porject/media) and it doesn't happen.

It's specific to the one computer only.

And all workstations are running OS 10.9.3 (not supported, BTW)?

Yep, and we're only on 10.9.3 because that's what they came with.

I can't find anything on the internet about "kFicNoErr" but I can't be the only person to ever get this error.
