    Exporting a MXF OP1a XDCAM VBI Noise

    Hi

    I am exporting programs for a broadcasters as MXF OP1a XDCAM files and are getting noise in the VBI. first few programs were fine but then came this random noise on the bottom after where the VITC would normally be

    Broadcaster won't accept the files so any help apperciated

    Update this only happens when exporting an SD clip

    Just in case anyone else suffers this the VBI Noise only occurs in SD 1:1 footage simply mixdown your sequence to 2:1 and it is fixed

    I suppose you are working with Pal footage Callum, is that so.

    Yes it happens in PAL but I would guess it happens in NTSC as well

    I was incorrect when I said just change resolution, DV 420 works all the time 2:1 sometime has some disturbance

    Not quite sure about that, I can remember some old Pal 1:1 SD bugs, most of them fixed by now but there might be some of them still present.
