MC7 MAC ingesting XDCAM EX rushes

I'm building a new edit suite with a new mac pro and MC7 (switched from a PC suite with MC5). What would be the best and fastest workflow at this moment to ingest EX3 XDCAM EX material in MC7 on Mac? On PC I always had to use the sony xdcam contentbrowser and export (takes a lot of time). AMA-linking is a bit tricky I think, as I work for months on long projects - docu’s for television of 60 – 90 minutes - and often haven many hours of rushes.

Kind regards and thanx in advance,
    Bart Beckers

How will the media come to you? cards or a drive?

Assuming a drive then no different to before really.

You could still use the Sony xdcam content browser to re-wrap the MXF files for direct dropping into the Avid media folders. But I'd use AMA to link and then consolidate and achive the same thing. And with V7 that should work as a background process.
