Another option is to set the Intensity Pro card as the default Windows playback device, using the Windows "Sound" control panel.  On Windows 7, the option is labeled "Speakers 2-Blackmagic Audio".  This will feed feed sound from other applications through the Intensity card's analog & s/pdif output connectors, along with Avid audio.

Maybe so but this still is the PC side of the community ...

And my opinion of Apple Mavericks, as we now are discussing it here at the Windows side of the boards, is that it is crap and destroys for most of the companies that are trying to develope hardware and software.

    Don't waste time.

It's the only thing I don't like to this box.

You have to change format to 1080i if you want to have the output to monitor from a 1080p project...

But then you can't render because you will end up having i renders not p or at least applied motion effect to clips to match the difference...

    Correction:

The problem was with my TV LCD F&U monitor that supports p only up to 720.

Using a second TV LCD LG Monitor I have I can see fine the 1080p/25 output from my MXO2 Mini.

Re: MC 7.0.3 & Black Magic Intensity Pro

    Hello,

can anyone compare the differences between BMIPro and MXO2 mini?

I'm thinking about buying a BM because of DaVinci Resolve, but I'm happy with the MXO2 mini in MC (I use only a preview via HDMI to a client monitor). Alternatively, the involvement of both cards in one PC - which probably has more problems than benefits.
