MC7 ignores clip gain setting audio export

    Strange problem in MC 7.02.

When I export a sequence MC ignores my clip gain settings on "some" clips and exports them as if they were still at 0DB even if they have a clip gain of -48DB applied. Strangely it happens only to some clips! Playing the audio in MC is fine.

All the of clips in my timeline are consolidated from a Canon C300. Export format doesn´t matter. Happens in QT reference (with mixdown audio tracks selected) or a H.264 MOV with AAC audio compression etc... Only solution is an audio mixdown before export!

    Anyone else experienced this?

    Please help. Thanks. Andre.

Re: MC7 ignores clip gain setting audio export

I've been having the same problem, and like you have made audio mixdowns as a solution. (AMA from Canon XF but then selected clips transcoded to DNxHD120 for editing, so I don't think that's the issue? And I always go via QTref to Squeeze for encoding, for some reason)
