    AMG and TGA sequence

    Hello,

is there  specific requirement for using targa sequence? Using  AMG production and  AMG offline creator  we did not manage  to run smoothly HD sequence  more  than 3 second (we always see gittering ). It's  take long  time to open up  this sequence in application when  you chose another  composition and  go  back to composition with TGA sequence everything start from begining. Even using just browser to see this  tga  sequncee make AMG freez for long time and  movement between folders with tga  sequnces it's just nightmare.

    Any advise?

    Konstantin

    Regards

Are you not linking to the tga sequence and then transcoding to an Avid resolution?

I'm not sure what AMG is but Media Composer will import TGA sequences.  You just need to tick off Autodetect Sequentially-Numbered Files in the Import Settings.

We dont have Clip option. AMG transcode will create video file as i understand. That's why we deal  with TGA sequence.
