    Workspaces Track Heights

    Hi

Am I missing some setting or something?

When I set my different Workspaces I set different heights for the timeline.

In my Audio Editing I set the set the AUDIO tracks higher than the VIDEO and in my Source/Record Editing vice versa. I set the VIDEO tracks higher and the Audio not so high.

Now as far as I remember in MC5 that worked and I used those settings moving from one work space to the other and the timeline heights would be different.

Since MC6 it doesn’t work for me and thinking it must be a bug and would be rectified in MC7 and just lived with it. Now I’m using MC7 and it is still not how I remember it.

Whatever I set the height to it will be the same in the other workspaces when I move to that different workspace.

    Regards

    Ken

You need to link the timeline setting to a workspace.  After you name the timeline setting, select Windows-Workspaces-Properties and click link to Named Settings and type the name.  Any setting with that name will become active when you select that workspace.

    Good luck.

    Hi

    Thanks for that.

I now see where I have been going wrong.
