i have some footage from a dlsr. Im able to pull a great key, tweak a few things looks good in the matte view. A little bit of spill suppression and im thinking it looks good. Im noticing in the darker colors a bit of grain tho. I havent run into this before but does anyone know how to cure it? tricks, tips, controls im overlooking, etc? Thanks in advance.

    Re: Grainy spectramatte key?

We have a green key studio with an ultimatte. The result is almost perfect.

When i use the green key picture to be keyed out in the avid with spectramatte, i'm not able to achive the same result than the realtime ultimate.

Is there an ultimate plugin for Avid?

There was an Ultimatte AVX plug-in for MC, but it did not get updated and does not work on current versions.

    And yes, it was brilliant.

(Incidentally the Meridien Symphony from the last century had hardware real-time ultimatte.)
