NetHasp + Deko Mos + Deko Select Issues

I make a style on the Deko Mos, Replicate it on the Dekos.

    These two scenarios keep occurring:

    1.

On a Deko, Grab a bg still from Fixed_elements folder, and make two replaceable text boxes on top.  Save.

iNews deko select, select appropriate style, I see the template i just made, sans background.  Double click on it, text boxes appear.  Fill text boxes, hit preview.  text boxes are not where i originally place them, and bg does not show up.

    2.

On a Deko, Grab a bg still from Fixed_elements folder, and make two replaceable text boxes on top.  Save.

iNews deko select, select appropriate style, I see the template i just made, and the background image appears in the picon, but its the wrong background.  Double click on the template , it beeps at me, and no text field information boxes can be filled out.

I read this in the troubleshooting section of the Deko Select manual:
    "If this occurs:
    Double-clicking on a template does
not display replaceable text boxes in
the Editor. Picons work, but Previews
    do not.

    Try this:
This occurs if the Deko Renderer is not running because it cannot find
the NetHASP. In the DekoMOS Gateway configuration window, click
the Connections tab. Confirm that the IP address and port number in
the NetHASP Connection Settings section are correct. This must
correspond to the machine where the Net HASP is installed. Also,
ensure that the NetHASP License Manager is running on the machine."

this seems to be my problem, and i looked in the services and it appears NetHasp is running, and is on the correct machine, and in the Mos Gateway setup, the correct IP address is entered.

Bonus: All of this was working prior to a network outage on our house LAN.  I have a feeling some things need to get rebooted, but I have no idea what, and in what order.
