    STD :: Exception

    Randomly, several editors here have been getting this error. While moving around in the timeline, we start to beachball and then our Source Monitor and/or Record Monitor go black and the text "std::exception" appears in the bottom left corner of the window.

    Anyone have any ideas or solutions? Most of what I saw in the Forums were people talking about really long sequences, using AMA footage, or trying to export. We get this error while doing none of that.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hard to tell with so little information:

    Did you search the knowledge base?: http://support.avid.com

    There are some tips there:

    Re: STD :: Exception

    I did do a search. A lot of the incidents listed happen while using Audiosuite or while Exporting. I do get an std error sometimes while exporting, but it has a slightly message and it's in a pop-up error window. But with this issue in particular, it is simply while moving around in the timeline or source monitor that the "std::exception" text pops up in the source or record windows in the bottom left.
