hi friends,
I have planned to buy a new system with spec Intel I7 with supported Mother board, corsair 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD.
But im confused with graphics card. I got an idea to buy Quadro 600, but my friends said its not that much worth.
so friends please suggest me any good graphics card and guide me any upgrade in my spec.
thanks and regards,
GANESH M
As a gamer card, your friend are correct...however, on the Windows platform only the Quadro cards are officially supported for MC. People have gotten by with non-supported cards, but you will be more or less on your own if results are not up to par.
Using MC 20.10. Win 20H2 Avid FX6.4, Vegas Pro 18/ DVD Architect 6pro, DVDit6.4proHD, CCE Basic, TmpGe Express4, TmpGe Authoring Works 4, DVDLab-Studio. Sony EX-1R, Canon XH-A1, GL2, GL1, Canon EOS 60D
so you are advising me not to take quadro 600?? then which one is better dude?
Most people find the 2000 a good place to start. If money is an issue, the 600 will work, as long as you do not expect to play too many HD streams at once.
You will require multiple hard drives to work effectively. NLE is a very intense operation, the advent of highly compressed media as amplified the issue.

The Quadro 600 is a supported card for software only setup However it's not included in the qualified GPU list so you won't get accelerated realtime and effects rendering.
However the Quadro 2000 is as is the Quadro 4000. I'm unclear what, if any, additional advantage the 4000 card gives over the 2000 card if your not doing 3D work.
